If you are having trouble uploading your court book to the court because it exceeds the maximum file size — for example, the Magistrates Court system allows uploads up to 50GB only — you have two options:
Option 1 — Compress the file
Use a PDF compression tool or document optimiser to reduce the overall file size before uploading.
Option 2 — Split the court book into parts
- Open the matter and go to Setup
- Tick Enable consecutive document numbering across all folders
This ensures document numbering continues seamlessly from Part 1 to Part 2. - Create the first court book and select the first half of your folders — this is Part 1.
- Create a second court book and select the remaining folders — this is Part 2.
Always check the size of your court book before uploading. If needed, repeat the process above to split the court book into further parts.
