AI is disabled across the organisation. Users cannot enable Matter Intelligence for any matter.
Opt-In #
AI is disabled by default. Matter Owners can manually enable Matter Intelligence for individual matters during matter creation or later from matter settings.
Opt-Out #
AI is enabled by default. Matter Owners can choose to disable Matter Intelligence during matter creation or later from matter settings.
Always On #
AI is automatically enabled for all new matters. Matter Intelligence is available immediately without additional setup.
Default option: Opt-In Policy #
The Opt-In policy is recommended for organisations that want to introduce AI gradually.
Benefits include:
- AI remains disabled by default
- Matter Owners control activation per matter
- AI can be trialled on selected matters only
- Sensitive matters can remain excluded from AI functionality
This approach provides flexibility while maintaining organisational oversight.
